The game goes into extra time, a lovely through ball puts Lineker one on one with the Cameroon keeper Thomas Nkono, who brings Lineker down in the box for England’s second penalty. Every English fan in the stadium, watching world wide, sat on the edge of his or her seat as up stepped Lineker to again bury it deep into the net. England win the game 3-2 and are heading into a emi Final showdown with West Germany.
