Nigeria’s senior football team tunes up for Russia 2018 World Cup qualifier


Nigeria’s senior football team opened camp on Tuesday to tune up for the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Zambia.

Nigeria and Zambia will play their first Group B match on Sunday, in the African qualifying series for the 2018 world cup. The match will be played at the Levy Nwanawasa Stadium in Ndola, the third largest city in Zambia.

German Gernot Rohr, coach of the Nigerian team also known as Super Eagles, told Xinhua his players would train twice daily ahead of the crucial encounter with the Chipolopolo of Zambia.
