China draws for 2018 World Cup and 2019 Asian Cup

The group draw for the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers was revealed in the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur. Forty teams in Asia have been drawn into eight groups of five teams each. China has been drawn into Group C along with Qatar, Bhutan, Maldives, and Hong Kong. “We have to be ready to compete everywhere in the world, especially to win and to go to Russia,” said Alain Perrin, head coach of the Chinese national soccer team.
